CHINE - Fin XIXe/début XXe siècle
A six-leaf Coromandel polychrome lacquer screen decorated with phoenixes, cranes and pheasants among perched rocks, blooming peonies and lotuses, surrounded by precious objects. The upper part decorated with lake landscapes, the lower part with fantastic animals in medallions. On the reverse side, multi-lobed medallions containing birds, flowers, precious objects and ancient texts.
