One of the most beautiful editions of Boileau, and still considered the most complete. Its illustration consists of a portrait by Rigaud engraved by Daullé, 5 fleurons on the titles by Eisen, 38 vignettes by Eisen engraved by Aveline, de La Fosse or not signed, and finally 6 very beautiful figures for the Lutrin, not signed but drawn and engraved by Cochin fils.
