Famous affair which fascinated the French public and the press of the time. The financier Joseph Paris Duverney had made testamentary dispositions in favour of his associate, Beaumarchais; dispositions strongly refuted by the count de La Blache, universal legatee of the financier. First edition with the portrait of Beaumarchais which was added to only a few copies according to Tchemerzine. The 6th and last part of 24 pages "Arrêt de la Cour", is not bound in the copy.
