CLEMENT ROUSSEAU (1872-1950) Rare and important Art Deco period lamp stand in violet wood. The circular base receiving an original green tinted shagreen facing and a turned ivory ring. The obus shaft is decorated with a central ring inlaid with polka dots and ivory squares and finished, in the upper part, with a stepped cone receiving a top adorned with original green stingray circled with ivory. Made around 1925-30. Cracks and deformations on the base. Sold with a non-original lampshade. Signed Clément ROUSSEAU, at the point under the base.
