ÉMILE GALLÉ (1846-1904) Honeysuckle Lonicera Rare and important horn vase resting on a truncated cone base with a poly-lobed border. Proof in brown smoked glass with deep acid-etched decoration and polychrome enamels and gold in the oven. Decorated with a ring at the foot of the horn with decorative motifs executed in hard enamel and gold. The rims of the neck and the poly-lobed base are rubbed with gold. Art Nouveau period, circa 1900. Wear to the gilding of the decoration and the edges. Signed GALLÉ, in the japanese style in reserve engraved in cameo with acid. Height : 52,5 cm
