Portrait of Charles White, Commissioner of Barbados and Leeward Islands. Oval miniature painted on ivory, not signed, representing him in three-quarter bust to the left, on a cloudy sky background, in blue frock coat. In an oval frame encircled by 585 thousandths gold with his CW monogram on the back in a medallion of braided pearls surrounded by a lock of braided hair edged with blue enamel, with two handwritten labels "Exceptional min. by Andrew Plimer in gold" / "Charles White, commissioner of Barbados and Leeward islands". Good condition. H : 6,5 - W : 5,5 cm
