Maison Jeanselme Ca. 1860 Chair Rosewood with brass inlays Marked on the bottom of the frame "JEANSELME" Height 86 cm, width 42 cm, depth 42 cm Maison Jeanselme was founded in Paris in 1824 by Charles-Joseph-Marie Jeanselme. In 1871 the Maison was taken over by Auguste Godin and from then on was called A. Godin et Cie. It was the outfitter of the French kings Louis Philippe and Napoleon III.
