Mortuary mask of the Emperor Napoleon I in plaster, after the cast taken in St. Helena on May 7, 1821, by Dr. Antommarchi. Slight wear. Second half of the 19th century. H. 34 x W. 13.5 cm. Related work The plaster death mask considered to be the oldest, coming from the Antommarchi family, is kept at the castles of Malmaison and Bois-Préau (inv. M.M.73.2.23).
