Buck Danny Exceptional original India ink plate #1 from the first album "Les Japs Attquent". A historical plate because it is the very first appearance of Buck Danny. Made in 1947 by Victor Hubinon, on a script by Georges Troisfontaines, then taken over by Jean Michel Charlier, this plate has a cartouche in the top left corner announcing the title "les Japs Attaquent" which will not be included in the original edition published by Dupuis, and replaced by a view of New York. The plate is numbered J.001.A in the first box in the top right corner, and has the copyright of the World P.Press in the middle right corner. This plate is done in a very "digest" style from the 50's, and the cutting of the boxes will not take long to evolve, as Hubinon's style will gradually assert itself over the albums.
