Pewter truncated cone pitcher, with quarter round cup, slightly flared base and acorns.
Unpublished hallmark: C crowned / 1771 / D. Hallmark attributed to Pierre CAVELIET received master before 1800: crowned oak acorns / (-).C.

Very interesting unpublished atypical piece; the pitchers of Dieppe are of typology with high-Norman shoulder, this one is picardic and commonly noted on the pieces of Abbeville and Amiens
