in mahogany with brass reinforcements, opening on a green felt tray with each mobile leaf revealing storage spaces. Secret drawer with a system on the left side opening from the inside with a brass pull.
Brass plate on the lid inscribed "R.D.Boyd".
This box contains two candlesticks and a chess set complete with its 32 carved boxwood game pieces and a printed board on a plastic support (modern).
English work of the 19th century.
