Paris, Guillaume Le Bé, 1646. 2 parts in one volume in-folio, granite basane, spine decorated, red title, red speckled edges (Binding of the time). Remarkable engraved suite known as the Bible of Jean Cousin, illustrated with a large number of mid-page woodcuts. Titles decorated with an ornamental border with flowers, plants and birds. Text printed in a typographical frame. Eighteenth century handwritten bookplate on one of the titles and the first endpaper. Leaves C3, C4, N3 and N4 incomplete. Leaves Z2 and Z3 inverted. Transverse tear without missing the dedication leaf, small crack to some leaves. Binding rubbed, jaws split over a few centimetres.

ATTACHED, an early handwritten copy of a decision by the Parlement de Paris (1483) overturning a sentence by the seneschal of Poitou, the famous memorialist PHILIPPE DE COMMYNES (12 pp. 1/2 in-folio).
