BEAUTIFUL AND INTERESTING VELIN BINDING WITH A SCENE OF CHRIST ON THE CROSS ON EACH FLAT: the one on the first flat shows a high-ranking person (Charles V?) praying at the foot of the Holy Cross, the other, in accordance with biblical iconography, is a traditional Crucifixion.
Old handwritten bookplate on the title.
Hole filled in last 2 leaves, with loss of text. Browning and small halos throughout the volume.
