In-4, sow skin blindstamped on ais, framed with multiple fillets and scrolls, plate printed in black on the first board, with above the mention ISAK and below the date 1599, small historiated plate in the centre of the second board, clasps, spine ribbed, red edges (Binding of the time). Second volume only, out of two, of this edition printed in red and black roman type, with plainchant. It is decorated on the verso of the title with the woodcut coat of arms of the archbishop of Salzburg, and with a full-page woodcut depicting 4 biblical scenes. INTERESTING STAMPED BINDING OF GERMANIC WORKMANSHIP AND DATED 1599. Tear without missing on the YY2 leaf, soiling and spotting on some leaves. Motifs of the plate on the first plate a little faded.
