VERY RARE EDITION OF THIS TREATY OF CALLIGRAPHY, illustrated with a portrait on the title, a plate representing the various instruments of the calligrapher, a curious full-page figure (large oval medallion charged with a radiant lighted candle on which a butterfly is resting) and innumerable models of writing in all languages. Old handwritten bookplate on the title and verso of the last leaf. From the library of Émile Nourry (1976, n°15).
