Sermones de Eucharistia. Paris, Jean Petit, 1519. In-4, cold-stamped tan basane, with a border of foliage branches with fruits and acorns, the centre occupied by two vertical borders (Binding of the period). Moreau, t. II, n°2194. First edition of these sermons by Jean Raulin (1443-1514), preacher whose reputation equalled those of Gabriel Barletta and Olivier Maillard. It was given by Pierre de Montmartre, theologian and prior of Cluny. INTERESTING CONTEMPORARY PARISIAN BLINDSTAMPED BINDING, SEMI-FLEXIBLE. Holes in the margins, marginal wetness on the first 10 leaves and more important on the last 25 leaves. Endpapers renewed. Worm work on one corner of the binding, small lack on the spine.
