VERY RARE POST-INCUNCIL EDITION of the sermons of Olivier Maillard (1430-1502), preacher and confessor of Charles VIII, famous for his virulent preaching. Printed on two columns in small gothic type, with 45 lines per page, decorated with sifted initials. The mark of Jean Petit appears on the title. The second part of the volume, beginning with Sequuntur prothemata, questiones & parabole..., occupies leaves 133 v° to 146. A nicely bound copy in the 18th century. Handwritten bookplate on the title and note of the time at the end. Small lack at the head cap.
