Beautiful incunabula edition of this famous chronicle. Printed in Gothic script, it is illustrated with a beautiful full-page figure on the verso of the title, showing the author presenting his book to the king, and 17 woodcuts in the text. The first Strasbourg printing of this book dates back to 1487 and was given by the same typographer. An unwashed copy (a few stains) in a cold decorated 16th century binding by Huser. It comes from the Émile Nourry library (1976, n°68). Some colour highlights on the figure on the verso of the title. Bibliographical annotation in German on the wood. Stain on the first leaf which is a little soiled. Minor marginal restorations to a few leaves. Spine faded.
