Beautiful incunabula, printed in gothic type on two columns by Leonhard Wild for his colleague Nicolaus of Franfkordia. This is the second dated book from the presses of this German typographer from Regensburg, active in the city of the Doges from 1478 to 1481. EXAMPLE WITH BEAUTIFUL MARGINS, RIBBON OF RED AND BLUE, WITH THE FIRST PAGE ILLUMINATED WITH THE ARMS OF AN ITALIAN FAMILY: this one is adorned with a large initial painted on a gold background and framed in the margins of a rich border decorated with scrolls and flowers painted in blue, pink, purple and green, the coat of arms (undetermined) painted at the foot in a medallion of foliage. The initial I opening the first chapter of Genesis is also illuminated in the same way. From the library of Dr. Robert Fleury (1997, no. 8). Small wetness on the first few leaves and some more at the end. Without the first leaf, blank. Smudging along one hinge.
