Last album resulting from the collaboration between Jacques Martin and André Juillard, this historical series - dense and ambitious - related the adventures of a Venetian musician evolving at the side of General Bonaparte. From 1983 to 1987, the first three volumes had been pre-published in the magazine Circus, then in Vécu.
