Beautiful full-length portrait of Detective John Blacksad and his best friend, the journalist Weekly. This drawing shows all of Guarnido's mastery: the quality of his anthropomorphic animals both in attitude and proportions. We can feel the massive side of Blacksad, a former soldier, and the mischievous and nosy one of Weekly. Finally, we can admire the detail of the 1950s clothing, the pleats of the shirt and the trousers that fall just right, the work of materials that brings out the leather of Weekly's perfecto jacket. All of this in a harmonious colour code that makes it possible to recognize the series at first glance.
