Important female statue represented standing, the left arm raised, the hand placed on the head, the other arm along the body. A set of wax dots covers the body, traces of an ancient rite whose meaning has been lost. Hardwood covered with a beautiful patina of use. Lobi, Burkina Faso. H. 75 cm.
