Ruler figure, probably 19th century. Large seated male figure, carved from a single piece of solid wood. Depiction of a man sitting on a round stool with three legs in the shape of masks. There is a round opening in the base under the stool. He is wearing a loincloth, a high headdress and a necklace, probably with teeth or bones. In his right hand he holds a drinking horn decorated with carvings, in his left a pipe, also covered with carvings. The base, stool and headdress are decorated with various finely worked patterns. Height approx. 76 cm. With signs of age and wear, as well as dry cracks, front piece of the drinking horn detached. Entire figure with old, wax-like coating (conservation?)
