Lot of 11 tektites from the Atacama known as Atacamaites, drop-shaped, they are a recent discovery dating from a few years only. They are still the object of intense research. Some scientists consider them as impact glass (of meteorite origin) others as tektites not questioning the meteorite origin of Atacamaites The largest is 18 mm long.
