Official Martian meteorite, NWA 4880, showing a fresh and bright fusion crust, with orientation marks, signs of its entry into our atmosphere. It is following a very large impact on the planet Mars that a Martian rock was ejected to fall on our planet after a very log stay of several million years in Space. This Martian rock fell in the Sahara desert and was identified and analyzed, then officially declared as a Martian meteorite under the name of North West Africa 4880.
