Paris, Bibliothèque d'Éducation et de Récréation, J. Hetzel et Cie, sd (1890). Large double in-8°. Publisher's full red percaline boards "au monde solaire". Second board of Engel type "g". Engel Binder. Gilt edges. Blue endpapers. Printed by Gauthier-Villars. Catalogue "FN" for 1890-1891. Top cover worn. First spine discreetly split at the head for 2 cm. This copy - very rare in this last monochrome version - is nonetheless very pleasant. Superb plate. This second plate, very worked, was only used by Engel for the two cartonnages "au monde solaire" (Servadac, then De la terre à la lune/Autour de la lune) as well as for the three so-called "à la sphère armillaire" (Grands voyages et grands voyageurs).
