The very last version of the "solar world" cardboard before the appearance in 1891 of the "printed portrait". This second plate, very worked, was only used by Engel for the two cartonnages "au monde solaire" (Servadac, then De la terre à la lune/Autour de la lune) as well as for the three so-called "à la sphère armillaire" (Grands voyages et grands voyageurs).
