PALMIERI Pietro called Il Vecchio (Attributed to) 1737 – 1804 Fishermen on the rocks by the sea Pen and black ink, framed with a pen. Glued on a sheet (slightly faded in the corners). Mounted with wash and gilt fillet. Signed or annotated in the lower middle part in pen and brown ink Palmeriusi Fecit H. 25.5 - L. 30 cm (oval) On the reverse of the support board a handwritten label in pen attributes the composition to Joseph (Giuseppe) Palmieri (1674 - 1740), describes the motif and considers it an etching.
