Gilded head, cover and back preserved, under interlocking, rubbed jaws. Binding signed René Kieffer. Illustrated with 23 original etchings in colors by Auguste-Henri Thomas. Edition of 250 copies, one of the 20 head copies (#14) containing three etchings, a set of vignettes in a separate edition and an original watercolor signed by the artist.
