In-4, bright red Jansenist morocco, back with 5 ribs, red morocco lining with large decoration with double cold net forming a checkerboard of circles and squares in the middle of which are placed green morocco or palladium daisies, red silk guards, double guards, cover and back, case (Flammarion). Monod, I-1017//(3f.)-109-(3f.). 31 etchings by Auguste Brouet including the frontispiece, title vignette, 14 plates without text, 8 headbands and 7 culsde- lampe. Edition of 218 copies, this one one of 135 on Arches wove paper (no. 87). Very nice copy.

André Devambez (1867-1943) - Read the Town Councillor. 1916. Devambez printer. 120x79.5cm. Original poster, lithograph, canvas. Condition A- a trace of folding, a small trace of tearing. Faithful to the artist's surrealist universe, here we see a character lifting the roof of Paris City Hall to do as the newspaper does, and thus learn all the little secrets of Paris City Hall. If this were done today, he wouldn't have enough notebook and pen to write it all down. A copy of this poster was exhibited at the artist's retrospective at the Petit Palais in 2022-2023.
