Important set of documents about the implementation of the book illustrated by Georges Braque from the archives of the publisher Louis Broder, including a model, press releases, a signed suite and a launch poster. It includes : - The working model of the printed text with typographical tests, annotations and typographical measurements, the justification being handwritten: it includes 8 original engravings including the cover and one in duplicate. Numerous fragments of text on cut out papers with traces of sticky paper; red pencil mention at the head of the text's second proofs; - A set of print vouchers signed by Georges Braque des bois engraved: 19 print vouchers in all, including: 17 print vouchers from the 18 engravings illustrating the work (the print voucher from the engraving on page 39 is missing); - A set of engravings by Georges Braque des bois engraved on the cover of the book: 19 print vouchers in all, including: 17 print vouchers from the 18 engravings illustrating the work (the print voucher from the engraving on page 39 is missing: a black bird in a green and blue frame) and two additional copies for the engraving illustrating the publisher's case and the one illustrating the cover; - One copy of the edition printed at 180 copies on pure rag vellum, incomplete of the numbering sheet: in-folio in sheets, illustrated cover, white half vellum folder and illustrated publisher's case. The illustration includes 18 engravings by Braque: 2 double-page, 9 single-page and 7 mid-page. Inserted in the case, an additional print of the wood illustrating the case; - A suite of 16 plates on japan, all signed (nº IX/X); - The poster for the launch of the book at Louis Broder's from May 21 to June 1, 1963.
