Description
Chamberlain's key with the Elector Palatine's coat of arms in chased and gilded bronze from the 18th century. The almost round ring is chiselled in the round bump and in slight relief of the Bavarian coat of arms and the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, surrounded by two strong leafy scrolls surmounted by an elector's cap. Double boss chiselled with flowers and a drilled cylindrical stem. Bit with widely pierced muzzle. Bronze pierced, chiselled in slight relief and in round bump and gilt. Bavaria, 18th century.
