First edition of the two parts that make up Féerie pour une autre fois. One of 1,050 and one of 550 copies on Papeteries Navarre de Voiron vellum (no. 650 and 275), bound after Paul Bonet's design. Lacking at one joint of the first book. Spines very slightly faded.

ILLUSTRATED BY DANIEL URRABIETA VIRGIN CERVANTES SAAVEDRA (Miguel de). EL INGENIOSO HIDALGO DON QUIJOTE DE LA MANCHA. Barcelona, Salvat y Ca, 1916-1927. Two volumes in two volumes in-4 (513 pp, 1 f of table, 29 plates h. -t. // 559 pp and index, 26 plates h. -t). Leather spines highly decorated with gilded floral motifs, percaline boards decorated with the arms of Spain, Castile and Aragon (Publisher's bindings). Superb edition illustrated by Daniel Urrabieta Vierge (1851-1904), a famous Spanish illustrator from Madrid. According to Palau, 52293, this typographic painter is considered one of the best of his time. First published in Spain. Volume I, dated 1916, is a first edition; it would appear that Volume II, despite the copyright, is a reprint. The book belonged to Manuel Ramirez Pinto, abogado-Procurador of La Palma, who stamped it. A very fine copy.

ILLUSTRATIONS BY BERTHOLD MAHN CERVANTES SAAVEDRA (Miguel de). DON QUICHOTTE DE LA MANCHE. Paris, Union Latine d'Editions, 1935. Four tomes in four volumes in-4° (XVIII-307 pp // 327 pp // 3 ff, 366 pp // 2 ff, 374 pp, 1 f), red half-chagrin with corners, smooth spines decorated with double fillet, gilt heads (20th century binding). A fine copy. Translation by Francis de Miomandre, illustrated by Berthold Mahn and enriched with a facsimile letter from the illustrator to his publisher and a filled-in map of Don Quixote's itinerary. Palau, 53011 does not mention the illustrations, which, with their dramatic "end of a world" character, are once again in harmony with Cervantes' text.
