Ozeanien - Nauru Sammlung von 13 OPhotographien (Vintages, Albuminabzüge) des deutschen Schutzgebietes Nauru in der Südsee sowie eine Visitenkarte des Stationsleiters C.F.W. Wostrack. Um 1913. Format vorwiegend ca. 13 x 18 cm. Die Aufnahmen zeigen: Damen der Insel beim Kaffeeklatsch, Gruppenphoto vor dem Stationsgebäude, den Telegraphenmast, entgleiste Lore, Eingeborene beim Tanz/Tauziehen, Anlagen der Phosphatgesellschaft. - 1 Photo mit Eckabriss, Ecken bestoßen u. tls. angeknickt, tls. etwas stockfleckig, sonst insgesamt gut erhalten. Oceania - Collection of 13 orig. photographs (vintages, albumen prints) of the German protectorate Nauru in the South Seas as well as 1 visiting card of the station chief C.F.W. Wostrack. - The photographs show: Ladies of the island having coffee, group photo in front of the station building, the telegraph pole, derailed trolley, natives dancing/rope pulling, phosphate company facilities. - 1 photo with corner tear, corners bumped and partly creased, partly somewhat foxed, otherwise overall good condition.
