Japan Hokusai, Katsushika (Denshin kaishu) Hokusai manga, vol.6 Präfektur Aichi, Katano Toshiro, Meiji 8 (1875). 29 Bll. 22,5 x 16 cm. OBlockbuchbindung mit mont. DTitel (beschabt, berieben, fleckig). Wohl etw. spätere Auflage. - Vgl. Ex. British Museum: 1979,0305,0.428.6 - Mit je ganzs. Farbholzschnitten in Schwarz, Grau und Rosé. - Im oberen Rand tls. etw. knick- u. wurmspurig (Motive nur vereinzelt betroffen). Insgesamt gut erhalten, die Holzschnitte die Maserung teils fein mitdruckend. - Dabei: Leporello mit gedruckter Panorama einer Szene entlang des Quingming Fluss. Japan - Orig. japanese block book binding with mounted label on cover (scuffed, rubbed, soiled). - Presumably somewhat later edition. - Cf. British Museum: 1979,0305,0.428.6 - With full page color woodcuts in black, gray and light vermillion. - In the upper margin partly somewhat creased and worm marked (motives only occasionally affected). Altogether in good condition, the woodcuts partly finely printing the grain. - Added: as mentioned above.
