A Persian gold-damascened quaddarra, 19th century The broad, double-edged blade cut with deep, offset fullers on both sides. Floral décor lavishly inlaid in gold on the front. A small calligraphic cartouche at the root of the blade. The grip scales in dark buffalo horn with two gold-damascened grip rivets on the front, the grip frames inlaid in gold. Length 57.5 cm. As for portraits, also abundant in his artistic production, the University of Barcelona keeps the portrait of Pablo González Huebra in the rectoral gallery, as well as in the dining room of Antoni Gaudí's Casa Vicens.
