A bronze braid consisting of seven chains and two clasps pairs, Iron Age of South-Eastern Europe, 6th century B.C. Approx. 34 cm long pendant made of seven horizontal chains, each consisting of 1 - 3 interlinked rings. The chains are provided at each end by a superimposed pair of triangular closure plates with seven small eyelets for the chains and one large eyelet for fastening the hanger to a support (e.g. with a leather strip). Matt olive green patina, almost perfectly preserved. Extremely rare and unusually well preserved jewellery pendant of the early Iron Age. Condition: I - II
