Charles d'Aiguebelle ist bekannt für "Homographie [...] Choix de vingt plantes indigènes et coloniales", seine einzige Veröffentlichung. In diesem Werk kombinierte er den Naturdruck mit der Lithographietechnik, die er "Homographie" nannte. Es enthält 20 handkolorierte lithographische und naturgedruckte Platten von Bernard und d'Aiguebelle nach d'Aiguebelle. This lot contains 10 pl. numb. up to 70 which are probably pre-studies before the real publication or a further publication as d'Aiguebelle says (mentioned in lot 71 of Christie's sale, March 17, 1999): "we give here 20 plates, forming the first year of a collection of 120 plates (format jesus in-plano), both exotic and indigènes. Wir bieten den Liebhabern auch eine weitere Sammlung von vierhundertzweiunddreißig Pflanzen (Format in-4) an, die von Monat zu Monat per Heft mit sechs Tafeln geliefert werden können".
