Vacheron Constantin - Les Historiques Chronograph

An elegant Geneva wristwatch with chronograph, date and tachy scale Movm. No. 814478, Ref. 49002/3, Cal. 1136, Case No. 659099, Dimensions 35 mm, circa 1998, Origin Schweiz, Original box, platinum original clasp Case: Platinum, screwed on back. Dial: Porcelain coloured. Movm.: Automatic. This very attractive chronograph from the "Les Historiques" range has gently curved lugs and a concave bezel. The porcelain coloured dial features applied bar indexes and an outer tachymeter scale, with bar hands; the totalisers have blued hands. A square date window sits above 6 o’clock. The Vacheron & Constantin Les Historiques is powered by a mechanical automatic chronograph movement with column wheel of calibre 1136 with 18 K gold rotor, decorated with Geneva stripes. Reference 49002 was inspired by vintage references 4072 and 6026 and was launched at the start of Vacheron Constantin’s Les Historiques range, which was intended to combine the finest highlights from Vacheron Constantin’s remarkable history with modern watchmaking and revive the brand ‘s appeal. To the best of our knowledge 700 gold pieces and 130 platinum watches were produced. Case: very good, slightly worn. Dial: very good. Movm.: very good, capable of running, cleaning recommended.
