DTitel (Rücken alt erneuert, berieben, Ecken beschabt, VDeckel feuchtigkeitsrandig). Mit mont. typogr. März 1904 Die Voigtsche Liedertafel." - Die Aufnahmen des von der Besatzung veranstalten Kostümfest an Bord zeigen die Teilnehmer in asiatischen, orientalischen u.a. Kostümen, Matrosen, teils vor asiatisch anmutenden Paravanen posierend, Gruppenaufnahmen von der Besatzung und vermutlich Handelsvertretern, einen Portraitierten mit Schild um den Hals mit der Aufschrift "Bauchredner", einen Herrn mit Zylinder im Gestus eines Zauberers flankiert von zwei Personen in skurrilen Krokodilskostümen. - Tls. berieben u. etw. verblasst, insg. gut. Leather with gilt-stamped title to front board (spine old renewed, rubbed, corners scuffed, cover dampstained). - With mounted typographical dedication to Mr. Gustav Sobbe in recognition of his services to the costume festival on board the ship "V.L." in the port of Singapore. - The photographs of the costume party on board organised by the crew show the participants in Asian, Oriental and other costumes, sailors, partly posing in front of Asian-looking paravans, group shots of the crew and presumably trade representatives, a portraitist with a sign around his neck with the inscription "Ventriloquist", a gentleman with a top hat in the gesture of a magician flanked by two persons in bizarre crocodile costumes. - Partly rubbed and somewhat faded, overall good. * Dieses Werk ist regelbesteuert.
