A Luger Carbine Mod. 1902 by DWM, with shoulder stock, in case Cal. 7,65mmLuger, SN. 21697, matching numbers. Bright bore, length 30 cm. Rear sight graduated 1 - 3. Grip safety with latch for shoulder stock. Original finish > 98%, the front strap a bit lighter, with minor signs of wear on bluing and fore-end. Small parts incl. extractor strawed, firing pin and bolts nitre blued. Impeccable walnut grips. Nickel-plated magazine with unnumbered wooden bottom. The fore-end and the shoulder stock with matching numbers, the latter most likely a top-quality reproduction of walnut, with both sling swivels, small parts strawed or nitre-blued, checkering, but cap of horn. Spare magazine with S/N 1820c. In a wooden case, probably not contemporary, dimensions 52x22x7 cm. In excellent condition. Cont. vellum binding in modern cardboard slipcase (somewhat stronger scuffed, rubbed a. stained, with small cover defects). - Rare, only 3 copies listed by Worldcat - Currently for us not verifiable in international trade. - Somewhat browned due to paper, 1st page illegible stamped, the first 50 pp. with weakening dampstain, only isolated with pale brown spots. Altogether very well preserved.
