Netherlandish contemp. calf over bevelled wooden boards, covers with rectangular ruled border frames and lozenge-shaped central ruled frame with sm. tools inside (Christ, symbols of Evangelists, Agnus Dei, double-headed eagle, heart pierced by an arrow, flower, and the letters "Fr" with slash on the "r"; tools which could be used by a bindery of the Brethren of the Common Life), spine with raised bands, modern metal clasps and catches (spine and corners repaired, covers with scratches, modern flyleaves). Trotz des modernen Heftchens und der fehlenden ff. immer noch eine interessante und ordentliche Kopie mit breiten Rändern. Teil 2 (von 4) der berühmten "Summa theologica" des Erzbischofs von Florenz Antoninus (1389-1459), herausgegeben von Franciscus Moneliensis. Es wird als eines der umfangreichsten Werke zur Moraltheologie des 15. Jahrhunderts angesehen. Gedruckt mit den eleganten und leicht lesbaren Gotischen Schriften von Nicolas Jenson, einem der ersten Drucker von Venedig. Die vier Teile der "Summa theologica" wurden zwischen 1477 und 1480 gedruckt (I. 15 Dec. 1479, II. 28 June 1480, III. 1477, IV. 18 Apr. 1480). Verzierung: rote und blaue Initialen mit in die Randverzierung übergehender Stickerei, rote Initialen und rot berührte Kapitälchen. Mit kontemplativen Blattmarkierungen. Ref.
