Das grafische Werk auf Bütten und Wasserzeichen trägt am Fuß die Signatur "Piranesi F." und die folgenden Inschriften: Haec epigraphe, quoe in aedibus farnesianis Romae servatur, edita olim fuit a grutero, et Fleetwood". Und weiter: "Ex ipso Lapide accuratius descriptam hoc loco adposiumus; quod iis, quae dicta sunt non parum consentiat, ut apparet ex adjecto schemate". Mängel vorhanden, ungerahmt Radierung, Abmessungen 15,3x23,6 in.
