Strips of tape have been stuck along the edges of the paper at the reverse, which are now peeling off. There is significant creasing and tearing to the paper, particularly along the top edge, where there are large tears in the paper (see photographs). There is a vertical crease running down the centre of the piece, likely from being folded, which has also led to some paint loss. In many places the creases have led to paint loss, particularly towards the top left corner of the paper. There appear to be white spots perhaps caused by damp or mould across the paper. Overall the work is in poor condition.
