(Peter Bruckmann (1865-1937) was the first chairman of Deutscher Werkbund (Werkbund is a professional association of designers, architects and industrialists in Germany. The organization was established in 1907 in Germany at the initiative of industrialists and with the support of the government. Its purpose was to promote design in industry in Germany.
