"THE FABLES OF AESOP".- The original of which is kept in the University Library of Bologna. Ars Magna / AyN, 2001. 21 cm., leather with wheels and woven on the ridge, contained in case ed. Numbered notarial certificate of limited edition and vol. of studies. The manuscript was commissioned by the King of Sicily, William I, for the education of the young prince. The fables, written in Latin in 72 pages. Decorated with 147 beautiful miniatures, they represent a compilation of small stories with profound moral teachings, still valid today.
