With traces of cardboard and adhesive on the corners of the back. Unidentified signature: 22.4 x 14.3 cm (unframed). Still attached to the cardboard sheet of the album that contained it. FRITZ NETH (Stuttgart, Germany, 1932- Tübingen, 2004). Pair of chairs, 1950s. Teak wood and gray upholstery. Measurements: 72 x 63 x 62 cm; 42 cm (seat height). Pair of German armchairs from the 50's raised on bambi type legs, very characteristic of mid century design. The ergonomic seat adapts to the user's body. It is a luxurious and elegant design that made enthusiastic use of the latest technology of the time. They feature high quality craftsmanship, combined with flexibility and comfort. Neth was a German furniture designer, born in 1932, best known for his work with the design firm Correcta. Neth was part of a generation of designers who helped shape the modernist movement in postwar Germany. His designs were characterized by clean lines, attention to detail and a focus on the user experience. He believed in creating furniture that was not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical and durable.

Pair of mid 20th century industrial design stools. Gilded metal structure and skay seats. Height adjustable. Swivel seat. With marks of use. Measurements: 88 x 36 x 36 cm. Pair of high stools raised on four tubular metal legs. They have a seat upholstered in white skay, adjustable in height and swivel. It is a sober and functional design, with a mid-century industrial aesthetic.

Valorac. 400 - 500 EUR

Pair of armchairs; Spain, 1950s. Wood. They show wear in the upholstery. Measurements: 77 x 55 x 70 cm (x2). Pair of armchairs with wooden structure and upholstery in white fabric. The exposed wood traces a right angle in the armrests, describing a same line with the front legs, so that the soft and enveloping leather seat is balanced with this modern structure. However, the clean lines are softened by the warmth of a wood that shows off its qualities and grain. They show wear on the upholstery.

WILLY VAN DER MEEREN (Belgium, 1923-2002) for Tubax, Belgium. Pair of chairs, 1950s. Chromed metal and yellow upholstery. Measurements: 70 x 60 x 53 cm; 41 cm (seat height). This pair of Belgian chairs features elements characteristic of midcentury forms with Nordic influence. For example, the backrest has a curvature for ergonomic back support. The metal frame and flowing forms make it a pair of exquisitely crafted and highly sophisticated chairs. Willy Van der Meeren studied architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent and began his career working for a furniture company. He founded his own company in the 1950s, Tubax, which produced furniture for schools, offices and hospitals. He is most famous for his "301" chair, a metal folding chair that was mass-produced and used in many public buildings in Belgium. He was a member of the design group De Coene in Kortrijk and taught industrial design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. His work has been exhibited in numerous museums and design exhibitions, including MoMA in New York.
