The piece presents a design of polished and curved lines, with a tabletop inspired by a surfboard both in shape and in the aesthetic finish. Coffee table. France, 1970s. Gilt brass and glass. It shows signs of use and wear. Measurements: 47 x 100 x 60 cm. The coffee table in tender follows the Hollywood Regency style, a glamorous and singular language of decoration that was the result of the golden age of American cinema, taking as its basis the the theatricality, drama and glamour found in the film productions of the time. Four sharply curved legs converge at the shaft, which supports a bouquet of branches and spikes.
