CAPABLANCA, José Raul.- Handwritten and signed letter, possibly from the New York tournament in 1918, a competition in which seven of the world's grandmasters participated. In it he explains his poor physical condition, which determined his poor play in the last game of the tournament: "...because of this I played badly the last week of the tournament - The weather here is hellish or at least it has been for the tournament - Don't say anything at home because I'll write to them".
