Doce tarros franceses o austriacos para papel de fumar de la marca Abadie, 1ª mitad del siglo XX. Tarros cilíndricos con tapa de dos tamaños, cada tapa con un pomo esférico, con etiquetas de papel pegadas con los rostros estilizados de un africano y un chino, respectivamente, cada una con la inscripción "Papier a Cigarettes" y "Abadie Metal" (algunas de las etiquetas desprendidas, adjuntas). Altura 23 cm (tamaño pequeño, tres veces) y 39 cm (tamaño grande, nueve veces), diámetro 14,7 cm. La empresa Abadie, fundada en París en 1783 por Michel Abadie (producción del primer papel de fumar en 1789) como fabricante de papel de fumar y tubos de cigarrillos, estableció una sucursal en Viena en 1910. Junto con la planta establecida simultáneamente en Praga, empleaba a unos 1.000 trabajadores antes de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Las etiquetas de papel de color se basan en un diseño del artista gráfico Eugène Ogé (1861 - 1936 París) de 1907. Estado: II -
