VICEREYAL SCHOOL (18th century) "Holy Child Jesus Nurse"
Oil on canvas. The inscription in the lower register identifies the invocation of the Divine Infant and could be referring to the commissionor of the work or its possible author: "NIÑO JESUS NURSE / SOI DL HERMANO JUAN." The presence of the Trinitarians Saint John of Mata and Saint Felix of Valois link this painting to some convent of said order in the New World. Measurements: 37 x 28.5 cm.
